Pedro Miró and Otto Lowe trained Saudi students in recording heritage with photogrammetry at the Jameel House of Traditional Arts/ Jeddah in the old city of Al Balad in Jeddah. They also recorded heritage and worked with Saudi artist Ahmad Angawi to protect traditional heritage. Adam Lowe, Gabriel Scarpa and James Macmillan-Scott visited the Asir region with artist Ahmad Mater guided by Ali Mughawi in an effort to record the fragile Qut paintings decorating the interior walls of private homes in the Asir region.
